Virtual Forum - Women Leaders In Action
International Women’s Day was celebrated recently on 8th March. We certainly do not need just a specific day or month to give women the recognition they deserve. We believe that the celebration continues as women leaders need to be top of mind every single day.
To date, numerous publications such as articles, podcasts, and videos have supported the rise of women leaders around the world. A research conducted and published by Harvard Business Review (HBR) in December 2020 even concluded that women are better leaders during a crisis, further supporting the need for women leaders and their significance.
Sometimes, the issue is not the “what”, but rather the “how”.
Join us as we host two very special guests on our Virtual Forum series where we’ll discuss and explore Women Leaders In Action.
We are thrilled at the opportunity to be up-close and personal with
– Helena Phua, Executive Vice President Asia Pacific of The New York Times, and
– Patricia Enslow, was APAC Managing Director and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in Credit Suisse Asia Pacific Division.
They overcame adversity and broke stereotype especially those at the workplace:
“Women leaders are bossy!”
“Women are too emotional.”
“Will your kids get in the way of your work?”
Patricia and Helena have proved that women can have both successful careers and loving families.
As leaders, they are very powerful and influential.
It’s one thing to aspire to be a leader, it’s another to know how to be a powerful, influential, and unstoppable leader.
Moderated by Mel Christie from Christie Associates, this virtual forum intends to offer professional women the opportunity to be exposed to outstanding examples of women leaders.
